The Power of Positive Thinking

What Are The Benefits of Positive Thinking?

If you're feeling worried or upset about something, it's not uncommon to hear well-meaning people say to "think positive!", but can the power of positive thinking really change the way you feel? Not everyone believes in the affects of positive thinking, but if you know how to effectively use the power of  positive thinking to your advantage, you will get the results you're looking for. The key to this mode of thinking is that you are what you think and you feel what you want.

In some way or another, all of us affect the people that we meet on a daily basis, and it happens on a subconscious level through our thoughts and feelings as well as our body language. Haven't you ever wondered why we are all drawn to positive people and tend to avoid the ones who are negative? That's because negative thoughts and attitudes bring up both unhappy moods and actions. In order to turn the mind toward the power of positive thinking, working on our "inner selves" is required, since attitude and thoughts do not change overnight.

One approach to bringing about positive changes in your life is what's called The Three C's : Commitment, Control and Challenge. You need to make a positive commitment to yourself when it comes to learning, working, your friends and family. Be enthusiastic and always praise yourself and others, imagine yourself
being successful and it will come to pass. With Control, keep your mind focused on the important things, set goals for what you want to do and develop a strategy for dealing with problems. And finally, the way to reap the most benefit from the power of positive thinking is to be courageous, try to change and improve your attitude each day. Try new things, meet new people and ask lots of questions.

It does not matter what your circumstances might be at the present moment, think positively in everything you do and expect only favorable results, you will see that circumstances around you will start to change to meet those expectations. It will take time for these changes to take place, but they will occur. Studies have shown that people with positive attitudes are winners in good times and survivors in bad times.
